La Briar Rosé 2019
The party girl of the Wairiki wine family
From our own estate grown Pinot Noir we take off a small proportion of the juice after it has been resting on the skins for a couple of days to produce this lively number.
A pretty “onion” skin colour in that popular Provence style. Summer berries on the nose-think of strawberries and raspberries. Fresh and lively to the taste, benefiting from the addition of a small proportion of Sémillon to add some extra complexity.
A great “long lunch” wine being lower in alcohol and with a lingering off-dry finish, or try it as an evening aperitif and don’t be confined by convention.
